And the Winner Is....... US!!!

OK So this is our new house!!! We're supposed to be signing the final papers any day now and moving in right after that!!

We love this house! It doesn't have EXACTLY everything we were looking for, but it has most of the things we wanted. The house is on the inside corner of an "L" but its a regular shaped lot.

Here's Dayle walking up the driveway the day we all went to look at it again. By "again" I mean that we had already submitted an offer on this house that wasn't accepted. The other realtor said something about how another offer was stronger than ours. LOL I guess they should have just accepted OUR offer the first time and we could already be living there!



This is the stairway going to the 2nd floor. To the right are the girls bedrooms and bathroom. To the left is the family room, my office and another full bathroom.


I love the tile floors in the hallway, they're a slate blue grey kind of color and nice and cool on the feet!


Just insdie the front door, to the left is the library and to the right is the dining room. I can't wait to have my very own library!!!!!











This would be the library!!! Can you picture it??? The fire going, lighted book cases on either side in those two little alcoves, that whole back wall one solid row of books?!?!?!?


The part you can't see are the windows, they're out of the picture on the right side. My plan is to put two very comfy chairs in there, maybe even a couple chaise lounge chairs, a little, low bistro table in between, a lamp in there as well.


The two little wall thingies above the fireplace won't be there much longer. And the room is going to be a similar shade of grey as the marble around the fireplace.


Who would have thought that *I* would have a library??? LOL Can you tell I'm excited about this??? hehehe

Here is TeeJ's kitchen. It's a LOT bigger than it looks in this picture.

The kitchen is something we compromised on, unfortunately. This is NOT TeeJ's dream kitchen, not by a long shot!


The good news here is that we've seen some other FANTASTIC kitchens in this same model of house that WOULD be his dream kitchen.

That's good news because we know now that this house has the right bones to do a remodel someday and put his dream kitchen in here! That ought to make him very happy! He absolutely deserves his dream kitchen!!!!




If you turn around 180 degrees from where the kitchen picture was taken, this is what you'll see. This is the family room. There are patio doors to my left (not in the picture) and the hallway you saw above is to the right (also out of the picture).

You get a sneak peek at the backyard from here! The door opens right out onto the patio.

The yard is one of the things I liked most about this particular house. It's spacious enough for a dog, it's already green and landscaped so that's less work and less expense after we move in. AND!!! There's a pool back there! You'll see more of the pool later....


0/Citadelle+House+06.jpg" border=0> That wasn't too long of a wait! LOL This is the back yard, complete with the Blob Pool! We've always called it the Blob Pool because as you can see it doesn't have any kind of distinct shape! LOL

There's a little more to the backyard than what you can see here, there are more grassy areas that are out of the picture! Perfect for a dog to run an play!!!

Speaking of dogs... be on the look-out for an announcement that there's a new addition (or two???) to our family!!!!

So! That's our new house! We should be living there by the 21st of November, give or take a day or two for documents to fly around. I'll post more later!
